Frank L. McCabe, President
Mr. Frank L. McCabe, President of High Hotels, Ltd., joined the company at
its inception in 1988. His responsibilities include development
and operations of all owned and managed hotels. At the corporate
level, reporting to Mr. McCabe are High Hotels’ Vice President
of Operations, High Hotels’ Vice President of Sales and
Marketing, High Hotels’ Director of Development and in the
field, hotel General Managers.
Mr. McCabe joined High Hotels, Ltd. with over 20 years
of experience in hotel management. He has experience in
hotel openings, site selection and market analysis, renovations,
marketing, and ongoing hotel operations. He has developed
and supervised hotels from 100 to 225 rooms in Kentucky,
Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia,
and North Carolina.
Prior to joining High Hotels, Ltd., he worked for Crown
American Corporation in Johnstown, Pennsylvania for 14 years,
serving as Vice President of Development and Vice President,
Operations for a portfolio of 22 properties. Mr. McCabe
entered the hotel business with Standard Oil Company, Cleveland,
Ohio in the Hospitality Inn division and served over seven
years in various operations and corporate staff positions
throughout their growth from inception to 15 properties
and subsequent sale to Harley Hotels, New York, New York.
Mr. McCabe graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. Degree in Hotel Administration and has served as board member of the Chamber of Commerce and Board Chairman of Tourist Promotion Agencies and as an officer of The Cornell Society of Hotelmen. He also serves on the Hampton Inn Brand Advisory Council and has been a board member of HILMAC, a Hilton-sponsored lender of hotel projects. Mr. McCabe is currently a board member of High Investors, Ltd.
